I think we’re all familiar with the phrase “the best project you can ever work on is yourself.”
Isn’t that the most true thing you’ve ever heard, though?
Seriously it is! If you don’t make Y-O-U your most important project then what about those projects you’ve been wanting to do, those goals you’ve set out to accomplish, or how can you give love to those around you?
A huge focus of Project Based Life will chronicle my journey through learning how to better take care of my personal health. Trust me, I could fill out the food pyramid after being spun around 100 times -or- in my sleep after all those healthy eating lessons in school growing up, ha. However, now it’s time to APPLY what I’ve known all these years. (Oh wait, they changed that food pyramid diagram. Just checked it. Look it up!)
I will be conducting weekly challenges with many centered around healthy living. Some challenges I plan on having: drinking half my body weight in ounces of water each day, getting to 10k steps a day, building an exercise routine, cutting out additive sugar (oh man, this one will be hard, homegirl’s got one heck of a sweet tooth), meal planning, and meditation, and more!
I hope that you’ll enjoy following along with my journey and that you will join me! I would love any suggestions you may have for challenges!
